Today we are putting into pot our Osmanthus armatus trees, commonly called sweet olive.
Armatus is an autumn flowering variety with a sweet scent. It’s dense and upright with glossy oblong deep green leaves. During late summer, small axillary clusters of creamy white, spreading lobed flowers come into bloom with any female flowers being replaced with little red berries about 6 months after flowering.
